I started telling stories through drama and film while at Cambridge University and at the London Film School. I went on to direct award-winning documentaries and a South African-set feature, Dark City, before moving across to concentrate on producing.
The main pleasure of being a producer is working with writers, directors and others to fashion and hone the stories we are telling, whether at script stage, on the set or in the cutting room. An equally important part of the job is to get our films financed and distributed as widely as possible around the globe.
I am proud of being part of bringing all of our films to the screen – particularly My Son The Fanatic, Hannibal Rising, Penelope, Death Defying Acts, The Last Station and God Help The Girl.
I love cinema and I love television. I love the visual story telling medium. From Tarkovsky to Mad Men and everything in between. My passion is to work with others to get great stories onto the screen – whatever the size.
I am an active producer, co-producer, line-producer and executive producer on British and international productions. In the last twenty years I have been involved in the raising of finance and/or the successful production of over 30 international feature films and television productions. I speak Italian and German. My favourite films are The Battle of Algiers and Some Like It Hot.
We also enjoy providing production services both individually and as a company for international film and high end tv productions coming to shoot in the UK.
