Eleven year-old Daniel is a latchkey child who often struggles with a feeling of abandonment; his mother died two years ago, and his father Marc is a workaholicw who has little time to devote to his son. Thankfully, Danny can count on his buddies Colin and William. With their help, he trains a dog for the next Superdogs competition. This won't be without it's difficulties, among them the hostility of a girl his age, April, whose mother owns the best kennel in town. An adventure rich with unexpected developments and suspense will help rekindle Danny's enthusiasm and good humour. He will win April's friendship and resolve the difficulties in his relationship with his father. his efforts will garner the unexpected support of Nadine, a young Psychologist with unconventional methods. By the end of the story, he will also give fate a helpinghand and help bring together his father Marc and the beautiful Nadine.
