'Hannibal Rising' is the prequel to the Hannibal Lecter series and tells the story of the formative years of the serial killer's life, from his childhood in Lituania to his teenage years in France. Starring French actor Gaspard Ulliel in the coveted role, alongside award-winning Chinese actress Gong Li, and Rhys Ifans, the film is written by best-selling novelist Thomas Harris, based on his book of the same name.
