 Cutting between an Air force base in East Anglia and a small town in Germany, the film tells the story of the accidental bombing of Altgarten. Samuel Lambert is captain of a Lancaster bomber, August Bach is a German officer stationed at the Dutch coast, and Anna-Luisa is his housekeeper and lover who is looking after his 6 year old son Hansl at his home in Altgarten. We follow these characters, each struggling with deep personal burdens, through the course of a day and a night which will change them forever. Currently being developed to be filmed Spring 2010 |
